My Grandma Esther ~ Mansion Trash mentor and thrift store partner extraordinaire
Even though she left us several years ago, not a day goes by that she isn't whispering in my ear..."make sure you don't forget to plant red geraniums". The Sun seemed so much brighter when she was pulling weeds in my garden.

Husband Dan ~ and THE biggest Mansion Trash fan
I kissed a lot of frogs before I stumbled upon his lily pad. So happy I stopped screening his calls some 15 years ago and agreed to a date. Truly my BFF...

Kym ~ BFF and super-duper pregnant..again
Auntie Kym, as my girls refer to her.....one of my biggest cheerleaders and can't keep a secret to save her soul. Although I can no longer continually redecorate her house or share oodles of wine in her backyard, she still sings my praises from her rambler in St. Paul. Miss you bunches...come back soon!!

Leah ~ my BFF for more years than I can even remember
Our paths are soon to cross again...I can feel it...

The Scarlet Pimpernels ~ Fishing professionals
For 13 years this group has made the trek to Crane Lake to take part in what can be loosley referred to as fishing. It's evolved into a few more gin & tonics and disco balls than walleyes and worms. After losing one of our members in a plane crash a few years back, we have come realize that we can never take ourselves too seriously. Just take deep breath, forgive, and move on...Cheers Pimpernels ! Madonna (and Lennardt) await us in 2009 !

Suzy and Sarah ~ Team Kitchee Gammi Vintage (KGV)
These brave women paved the way for many others looking to find a niche in the industry of "junk" revivial. Their storefront located in the front window of Old Town Antiques rocks the house. So, so worth driving around the block to grab that rock star parking spot. Add to your favs ...www.kitcheegammivintage.com

Amy ~ my little sister
How great were the 80's? Although for many, many years I would have preferred she'd gone to live with another family, I now honor her for single handedly raising two amazing men. Her husband Andy may be joining the staff soon. His vast array of power tools make him very sought after. Let's hope he shines well in the interview.

Big sister Lori and me....
Sylvie believes with all her heart that she is the little girl in this photo. She just can't remember meeting the other girl.

The Randall sisters
I saw this very same poncho on the UMD campus not long ago and had to stop and catch my breath. Just what is this world coming to? Whenever Ruby cops a bit of an attitude, I threaten to take up knitting.

Big brother Scott - sorry, can't find a suitable photo...yet
Thanks to his three high maintenance sisters, Scott was able to fly under the radar more often than not. As a master plumber by trade, Scott is used to his sister's panicky voice explaining that her basement has filled up like an aquarium. He doesn't know it yet, but his rock star welding skills will be most welcome at Mansion Trash....Thanks in advance Scott !!

Bardon and Eulalie Higgins ~ Dan's grandparents
Style and grace redifined. A free thinking, independent woman born in an era when men owned the world. She waited a long time to walk through the Kitch's FRONT door. Lulu would have applauded my new venture... and then commenced with a barrage of questions. Pray that my girls get those legs...
